Slavko Sekulić, born in Rijeka, Croatia in 1971.
I graduated from the Music Conservatory “G. Tartini ”in Trieste (class of prof. Rita Susovsky). In 2003 Iwas awarded for Best Italian Student of the 2003 by the Italian Ministry of Culture. I graduated from the Mirkovic High School under the license of the Moscow Conservatory "P. I. Tchaikovsky ” and completed my postgraduate studies at the “G. Tartini ”in Trieste and Komitas State Conservatory,Yerevan, Armenia.
My international solo career started in 2004 at SNG "Ljubljana" and continued as follows: Teatro Lirico "Giuseppe Verdi", Trieste, Italy (2007 - 2009); Slovenian National Theater, Maribor, Slovenia (2009 - 2012); National Theater Belgrade, Serbia (2012 - 2013) and Croatian National Theater Ivana pl. Zajca Rijeka, Croatia (2014 - present).
My professional experiences at home and abroad have contributed to my development as a person. I am open person who communicates with people with ease and comfortable working on my own as well as being a part of a team. I enjoy multicultural environments that allow me to learn from people who come from different cultures and have different backgrounds. In my experience it is of crucial importance to learn to cooperate in such settings and to be able to work as a team during a production.
In 2005 I organized and worked as an artistic director of a festival “Musical evenings at St. George’s”in Rijeka, Croatia. This was the first classical music event that took place in an Orthodox church in the Primorje region. The festival consisted of three concerts that hosted a number of musicians fromCroatia, Slovenia, Austria, and Russia. The Saint Petersburg based trio “Anima” performed at the firstconcert. The second was dedicated to opera arias and the third was based around a piano recital. The program and the international character of the festival attracted a very high number of visitors and was praised by the Department of Culture of the City of Rijeka Authority as one of the cultural highlights of the year.
In 2019 I started a small culture-consulting business for organizing cultural events all over my country.

I have worked with the following conductors: Michael Hallas, Loris Voltolini, Dieter Rosberg, Vladimir Kozuhar, Bruno Campanella, Steven Mercurio, Stefano Ranzani, Lorenzo Fratini, Peter Feranec, Uroš Lajović, Marco Boemi, Marko Letonja, Dejan Savić, Francesco Rosa etc.
