He recorded for Decca, Universal, Philips and TDK with artists such as Dessì, Armiliato, la Scola, Colombara, Sabbatini and the DVD of his recording of Tosca from Carlo Felice Theatre, Genova with Dessì, Armiliato, Sgura staged by Renzo Giacchieri has been released getting fantastic reviews.
He is considered an expert in lieder music to which he devotes himself with great passion and gives masterclasses throughout the world for young singers, conductors and pianists.
In the last years he conducted Attila for the world opening of Astana Opera with Ildar Abdrazakov whom he conducted later in a Gala at the Royal Omani Opera House and gave a concert at Wigmore Hall, London with Carlo Colombara with whom he later recorded a CD for Decca with music by Wagner, Massenet, Verdi and Rossini.. He was then leading Trieste Verdi Theatre orchestra in an italian Opera gala at the Korean Yeosu Expo and in a symphonic concert featuring The Planets by Holst in Trieste.
He then started a wonderful collaboration with Anna Netrebko, conducting her for the first time in a Gala in Kazan,and was later in Bogotà for Turandot, in Leon for Tosca, at Helsinki Finnish Opera for Don Pasquale, where he went again one year later for Tabarro/Pagliacci, in Treviso for Trovatore.In January 2015 he conducted Traviata in Filarmonico Theatre, Verona which was followed by a much acclaimed concert version of Porgy and Bess at the Chaliapin Festival which was repeated many times in the following years, the Barber of Seville always for the Chaliapin Festival and Nabucco in Lima.
Later he was engaged for a concert with Carlo Colombara at Varna Festival, in a Gala with Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov at Beiteddine Festival, symphonic concerts at Luglio Musicale Trapanese and Riva del Garda Festival, the Don Pasquale rerun at Finnish Opera, Aida in Rovigo, Pisa and Livorno, Carmen in Split, Boheme in Bucarest, a Gala at Regio Theatre, Parma, with Yusif Eyvazov. He then appeared again with Anna Nertrebko and Yusif Eyvazov for 2 concerts at Broad Stage Hall in Santa Monica and was again on the podium of Fondazione Arena di Verona for a symphonic concert with works by Schumann and Haydn and then conducted in July 2016 2 concerts in San Paolo and Forza del destino in Varna Festival.
After that he got a huge success with Rigoletto in Moscow and Sochi for the Rostropovic Festival where he was invited the following year for Boheme, went back to Broad Stage Hall for a triumphant concert with Piotr Beczala and opened again the Chaliapin Festival with the new production of Pikovaja Dama which got a tremendous success. Later on he conducted Aida for the reopening of Tbilisi Opera and was back in Santa Monica for 2 more concerts, one with Vittorio Grigolo /Carmen Giannattasio and the other one with Michael Fabiano before meeting again Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov for a Gala in Marbella.
More recently he conducted Macbeth in Rijeka with Giorgio Surjan and a Gala with Maria Gulegina, Yusif Eyvazov and Lucio Gallo in Zagreb where he then recorded a duet CD wiith Eyvazov and Rossana Rinaldi., he made his debut in Seoul with Elisiir d'amore and resumed an historical collaboration with Giuseppe Sabbatini with a lieder abend which was performed first in Berlin and then in a japanese tour. Always in Japan the conducted 2 triumphant concerts with Vittorio Grigolo in Tokyo.
Among his next engagements a concert in Valencia with recording of a Verismo Arias CD with Piotr Beczala, concerts with Vittorio Grigolo in Korea and South America, the Bolshoi debut with a Gala honoring Vladimir Vassiliev, a new japanese tour with Giuseppe Sabbatini, and a chinese tour always with Sabbatini, performances of the Chaliapin Festival Pikovaja Dama production in China , the Elisir d'amore rerun in Korea, symphonic concerts in Ludwigshafen with recording of the evenings, more concerts with Netrebko/Eyvazov.
